Cardinia Ranges is 50 kilometres due east of Melbourne and is a very new region to be recently discovered as producing outstanding Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

The "Home" block was planted in 1998 using "old world" viticulture techniques such as dry grown and biodynamically managed. The first vintage made in 2001, was recently awarded the Best Premium Pinot Noir in the National Donna Hay Magazine Awards in Australia in 2004. This is testimony to the site selection as being an outstanding producer of top class pinot Noir.
