"It's all about terroir and about specific site selection. Winemaker, Sergio Carlei invested many of the early years researching and choosing grapes for each variety by region - those regions where they grow best.

The noble red varieties such as the Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon grape come from the warmer climate zone of Central Victoria. This zone consistently produces ripe fruit with intense varietal definition. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc prefer cooler climates to manifest their varietal elegance; our choice is the Yarra Valley and the Cardinia Ranges.
All our vineyards are managed under the following criteria:
- Appropriate Varietal Site Selection
- Dry Grown where possible
- Very low cropping
- Natural and low chemical inputs regimes
